If it’s the miniature tool set then I wouldn’t bother.


I think the smallest gouge I use is 1/4 inch spindle and even that hardly gets touched these days.


As mentioned I’d get them as you need them, or if you want a set with pen turning in mind then I’d opt for something like a spindle roughing gouge, 1/2 inch spindle gouge, parting tool and a 3/4 inch skew (with skew being the most versatile imo).
