After spending weeks of researching & posting photos of my moulds on this forum a few days ago, I have had numerous enquiries & messages of support from various forum members who have made me aware that there is a big gap in the market here in the uk for an independent manufacturer/supplier of quality pen blank moulds. So I have decided to fill this gap. I'm in the process of setting up a website that the moulds can be ordered from with the choice of both Condensation Cure or Addition Cure RTV Silicone. We will also be putting quite a bit of information on the website on the differences between the two.

The website should be up & running by the end of the week, with 5 different sizes of block moulds & our "Less-Resin" moulds starting with the Slimline & Sierras. After a few requests from forum members I am also in the process of making patterns for Beaufort Inks Mistral & Tempest pen kits and the TM Omega & Alpha which with a bit of luck should also be sorted out by the end of the week, with others to follow over the coming weeks.

To start with, until we manage to build up stocks the moulds will be made to order on a first come first served basis. I would also be very interested to hear what other pen kits forum members would like us to make our "Less-Resin" moulds for, then I can start with making patterns for those moulds over the coming weeks.

Please bear with me for a few days whilst I get things set up.

Regards Paul

Not that I am in the market for buying molds but one thing for sure

Is it Mold or Mould.? that is the question.?

Anyway, what about molds for 150mm x 20x20 for kitless? with the lift of kitless does anyone want that size?

Just a couple of thoughts.

I make moulds myself, and to help you out you might want to know that actually you can get away with the same mould for both an Omega and a Mistral, to save you making two separate ones.

I will add the picture again that shows the Omega tubes in the mould as you can see cavity size to show how this can be achieved.

We already have that exact size mold/mould, when we get our website up with the moulds on, if anyone is wanting a different size mould, get in touch as we are also looking into adding new moulds to the market.

With everything else on at the moment I hadn't twigged that the same mould would fit the Mistral & Omegas, I just started the Mistral & Tempest patterns last night, but recon I would have twigged once I started the omega! But Thanks for the heads up.

Many designs are not needed to be fair as most will double up if not more but think I covered some on your previous post as more of a guide.

I have been watching your weather in Canberra and the east coast and having quite a laugh.:chuckle:
At the same time wishing it was that cool here.

Been watching the weather up your way wondering how your water wings are working apparently for this wet weather season early in they have had a record rainfall a lot of it around your way where the word barren would cover it normally.

With your water supply normally artesian based it must be a novelty.

Nope just going mouldy with the weather. :goesred:

But do you sell the blanks that you make from your moulds?

PG

Mouldy with the weather LOL, maybe not so off topic then after all :winking:

Yes we're planning on making & selling blanks aswell as the moulds, just getting the website settup

If there's anything specific in blanks or moulds or even molds, let us know and we'll see what we can do!

Come on Paul get your finger out and stop reading all these Aussie weather reports and get that website of yours up and running.
