Can't see a lot wrong with them, great combination of blank and plateing and all look well turned. I love to see a proper turned slimline and not ' a fat lass with a belt' style...not easy to do!

I see you've got the pen I hate. But you've done a better one than me third from left. I have only made two and six more to do. I was told same size tube as a slimline cut to suit and glued only to find tubes where different sizes and had to restart. Only have another six to do and will put away don't think I will buy it again....

Thanks everyone.
Tom, the Euro style pen, yes different size drills and the spinning ring on the middle bush to do the tennon on the top tube. I've only done the one, in black palm, but I quite like the pen style.

I don't mind the Euro myself....I made quite a few when starting out. You learn a couple more techniques with that kit, so it's a good kit to learn on.
Maybe it's the photograph but it looks a bit underturned at the centreband.
You're a brave man starting with black palm as that timber has tripped a few people up.
