I don't mind the Euro myself....I made quite a few when starting out. You learn a couple more techniques with that kit, so it's a good kit to learn on.
Maybe it's the photograph but it looks a bit underturned at the centreband.
You're a brave man starting with black palm as that timber has tripped a few people up.
