Its taken over a year now but we are in our new home and the "Shed" at the bottom of the garden is now a workshop

Looks a bit different now as we have a path leading up to it and another "Shed" by the side of it but its slowly turning out to be a decent workshop

My workshop adjoins the house but needs a trip out and around,in the frost or snow you will be faced with rain etc, none of these count when you secure your very own Domain, enjoy and thrive mate.

Looks very nice Colin,:thumbs: actually it looks like where you go when your in trouble with the missus.:funny:

Exactly :winking:

That photo was a year ago, just after we moved here, looks a bit different now, its big enough to have different areas for different things (Resin / Turning / Cutting etc)
Getting it how I want it will take a little time but its getting better every day and I can actually get in and do things now

Just trying to train the Mrs on Coffee & Snack delivery’s bit hit and miss at the moment :rolling::funny::funny::funny:

Hey up Colin, welcome back old lad.

Nice to hear you are getting sorted now and back to it!

Wondered how you were doing, tried to phone you a few months ago but didn’t ring so thought you may have changed your phone.

I got as far as she now comes out to the workshop and tells me when coffee is ready now to train her in the fetch and carry:funny::funny::funny:

I must admit she treats me well "yes dear I am coming to do the washing and cleaning":whistling::whistling::whistling:

Its still not right and I am sure its all going to be moved around a dozen times until I am happy with the layout, but at the moment it will do :thinks:

Would it not been easier to swap the pro edge and lathe as having the lathe head nearly up against the bench will prevent movement at that end.

It is not set up properly and I shoved the lathe in there to get it out of the way while I moved the shelving :rolling:
The shelving is moving into the Shed .... The lathe will live against the back wall on its own so plenty of elbow room :thumbs:

It’s all temporary at the moment :thinks:

See the essential frig is in place for that one day in the summer.

Peter.

Sorry to say that might look like a fridge / it was a fridge but not anymore.
Its a hot box that never goes above 25 Deg or below 21 Deg, its to store the resin
The wooden box next to it is the Pressure Tank, again in a heated box - helps with the curing process
