Hi All,

Had a customer who bought a few Castellar fountain pens and she has had two where the clips have just come off at the joint. Is this a common failure, and would it be due to poor joints or customers excessive strength? Is there any way of strengthening the joint ie. with a little drip of CA that anyone has tried. Okay, it's easy to rectify, but I would prefer it not to happen.:sob::sob:

Regards

Jim

Hi,

I think it is also called the Junior Gent 2. It is slightly larger than the Jnr Gent, and I felt, of better quality. I got them from Timberbits.
This is a picture of one which you may recognise.

The customer would have certainly being a bit rough with the handling for the clip to snap Jim .. Personally i believe it is a flaw with the kit .. :thinks:
