I sold a Baron fountain pen to a lady at Christmas and she is asking if it is possible to get a replacement nib with a narrower point.

  1. Does anyone know what size nib the Baron takes
  2. Where (in the UK) I can get nibs from

Thanks in advance guys

Chas, like Peter has said, it's a size 5, which is 26 mm long and in the case of the Baron has a 0.7mm point. They are available down to about 0.5mm and I'll have some coming in within the next few weeks, but I can't help you at the moment I'm afraid. In the meantime though, the Baron nib is interchangeable with the Omega nib, which is also a size 5, but has a point of 0.65mm if that helps in the short term.

Thanks Phil. For future reference, what sizes are you getting in and what size points?
