General question since I have avoided Fountain Pens how many makers of these pens tune the nibs trial run the pens flush and clean the nibs, sell the fountain pens ready to write I can see a minefield with these pens, quality of inks fillers choice of nibs, cartridge or fillers, ink colours. The need for other papers to reap the benifits.


Anyone answers I have asked in the past no replies maybe these things are either not done or partially perhaps. Ed you said the nib I inquired about can be made very useful I have looked on You Tube the fettling of a nib looks like a science to me.
