This cartridge is 31/2 inches long designed for maximum collateral.

The ink mech is screwed into a receiving thread in the shell. Quite light it writes easily and pleasant to hold.

No protection on this pen Terry. I try not to go too far with metal,another ball game too far for me. The cartridge is unshot new yrs ago from a maker .

Very few makers could achieve the cap section like this one I use cannibalised parts from a special deal I did from China many years ago,mostly used all of them by now. Phil.
