I have finished therapy from my ankle surgery and am making good progress. I see the doctor in early August and he says I should be around 80%. Hopefully I will be able to stand for longer than 10 minutes. Now that my foot actually has an arch my right leg is longer than my left. The left ankle will eventually be operated on as well.

On the no luck at all comment my wife and let our guard down and are now suffering with covid. She in her 8th day, me in my 6th.

Sorry to hear about the Covid on top of everything else. Hope it’s not too bad and you both recover quickly. Likely you will feel very tired and it seems to help to just accept that and don’t try to push too hard.

I am feeling bad about the separation occurring in my feet soles and here you come up with this shocker mate. Trust the 80% call is accurate and you will be more mobile and best of for the second foot.:thinks:

Life long flat feet that collapsed and were bone on bone. Pretty much in pain 24/7. Right foot was the worst. Next year I will need to get the left foot corrected as well. The worst part for me was the 8 week non weight bearing. The only time I got out of bed was to ride the knee scooter to the loo. Getting old isn't for sissys.
