Hmmm, seems the lower tube in one of my recent slimlines isn't stuck properly.

Was done using epoxy, but it seems it was poxy epoxy or a poxy mix by yours truly.

So, any suggestions on how I can rescue it ? Seems a shame to bin it.

It's an acrylic slimline if that makes a difference to suggestions.

Seperate the two halves and if you can expose part of the tube put some thin super glue on it not to much otherwise it will run onto your blank and push it back quickly leave it for 5 min and it should be ok

Thanks mate, I wondered about trying CA, but wasn't sure if it would react with the epoxy or not.

I can expose the tube that's how I found it wasn't stuck.

Will have a bash !

Heat is a good thing to use with plastic on slimlines .
Do you have an oxy acetylene torch?
Or an incinerator?

Woody is right slip it out super glue it and slip it back in quick.
Good luck with it.
