I came across this photo of some pens I made about four years ago. With the debate about which pen people like best, be it from the TB stable, I thought I would post this that I found in my archives. Beautiful pens. Finish could be better.

Neil as a pen person I like diverse ideas and themes your pens are both good examples that please me no end.

I do like the pens, but i would have liked them better if the CB wasn't as big .. They have a nice shape to them and i do like the way the pen tapers .. Two good looking pens indeed Neil .. :thumbs:

I like them because they're different and would make some myself but I don't think I'd buy it for myself, if that makes sense.

The relevance is the debate about the quality of kits, this is a good kit and makes a nice pen, good balance and style, but the latter is very subjective. The splayed apple started life as a bocote tree!

I agree, they might be quality but they don't do it for me, sorry Neil.

I have made several of these in fact there are two in my gallery on the forum and have to agree with Steven they are a quality kit
