Now I remember why I stopped making click pens one of them works when it wants to the other one wont work at all what a waste of two lovely bits of spalted silver birch

That certainly is two lovely pens Woody, does it not fit any other kits? It would be such a shame to throw that away.

There 8mm tubes Paul but I will strip them down just in case the wood on the bottom tube is 9.5mm one ens and 11mm the other one is 11mm both ends

Two lovely looking pens Woody but just a shame about the mechanisms. I have only made one click pen and that never has worked except the very first time I tried it as I was going to send it to you for the Pens for Hero's and decided it was not fit to use.

You'v got me worried now as I have turned 5 Click Pens from Timberbits and up to now they are perfect, time will tell.

They are a temperamental kit and have to be precise on the end Milling.

but nice looking bit of wood Grandad..:thumbs:

Glen, clicker kits need very little taking of the tubes when squaring up the blanks, so be careful and you should be ok..

I have a feeling from dad's silence that I may have donated these kits.
They are a particular pig and the only way I ever got them working was by turning the belt down and making them one piece pens.
