Hi all...a little warning....i had a very lucky escape today and not from an expected source....
Whilst turning a Hybrid blank....it exploded on me....well not a good thing but controled and safe...ish my problem came with the save and please all be aware..
Both parts of the blank were whole and pushed together with no gaps....it sprung a bit around the tube...bonus that will hold it together....so i smoothered it in thin CA and POPPED the joint back together with CA splattered everywhere inc all over my face!!! I ALWAYS were glasses and am so glad i do...
The joint set well as you can see whilst i cleared up and debonded the lenses on my glasses....
