Nice bit of wood Andy mate and I like the shape. What’s your opinion of the Yorkshire grit and Hampshire sheen?

A very nice bowl Andy and enough grain pattern and spalting to add interest. At least you are doing more than me at the moment as you may have seen busy converting tree trunks.

Hi Kevin
it is just an ornamental piece fella, I rough turned a few of these bowls about 12 months ago, I used the wood screw that fits in to the c jaws on my chuck (with tailstock support) until the tenon and outer shape was formed, then turned around and hollowed leaving 10% wall thickness of the diameter, HTH
