Thought I would share this with you, had a request to make an oak bowl to math their oak furniture, quite specific in what they wwanted.

Large and flat bottomed....:thinks: She liked it... thankfully..

C&C welcome.

just under 13" diameter and 3" deep. (Outside measurements).

Silver turns to told IMHO when you make to suit the person who requested it then it is a sure thing glad it worked out for you, like the Oak theme.

Kind regards Peter.:thumbs::thumbs:

Very nice Eamonn. Deliver whats ordered and you'll get more orders. Oaks is notoriously difficult to finish but you've managed to do it very well. :thumbs:

Nice one Eamonn the bowl looks very well turned and with a nice finish. I really like turning Oak bowls and the bigger the better.

I like to make them as chunky and rustic looking as possible. I have quite a few large blanks that I must get around to doing.

Great bowl and the shape shows off some wonderful grain patterns. Nice one!
