Take a guess
Gunmetal slimline wearing an Oak & Ebony serpentine blank, for once I was pleased with the darker dust from sanding filling the open grain of the Oak as it gives it another dimension.

Beaut blank course texture of Oak is tamed like the accurate turning to the tip, centres and the detailed roll over at the top your follow through joining is the opposite of mine matching when the pen is closed I like both ways.

Oak in the hand is striking its difficult to light without flare. Lovely pen in all respects Doug. The Serpentine must be sensitive at the ends to prevent flicks and chips this you tamed.

Peter.

Excellent Doug.
We have an Oak dining table that had been ebonised, then sanded back. Really highlights the grain!
Might have to try it on a pen now.
