This gavel is going to a Masonic Lodge to be raffled on behalf of Shaun Stocker the 23 yr old soldier who lost both legs & his sight in Afghanistan.
Now shaun has his new legs he hopes to raise money for Blind Veterans UK by walking 100 km this year. It is such a brave effort that I & 3 others are doing what we can to help him achieve his goal. up to now we have raised £210 & hopefully another £100 for th gavel.I enjoyed making this because Shaun & I have become good friends.

Have not been to Lodge for a number of years now I used to fall asleep when the lights went out but that Gavel is very topical should raffle well. Go safely mate. Satisying to choose then magnify mate.

I raffled the gavel set last night & raised £150 which with gift aid should make it about £180 to go towards Shaun's target for Blind Veterans UK.
I'm well chuffed.
