I felt the need for a little play and experiment so put a few bands of copper in and antique brass fittings. I'm not sure if they are the fittings I should have used or should have waited to get some copper but I'm not a patient person so brass it is :thumbs:

I am not keen n the antiqued brass kits They look all scratchy to me.
I think a copper kit would have suited better.
great work though as always doc, lovely finish.

I think the contrast between the 3 materials look good. My first glimpse of the pen made me think of a barrel. Nice looking pen that one.

I like how the copper overlaps Paul, it helps giving it a more antiquey look .. Looks good with the accents to me .. :thumbs:
