Ted it is a beautiful design and placement of the knot right up front in the pocket where it counts, like the quirky character. I often wondered what was used in timber for fence posts over your way wasted mate needs to be on pens.

It is not very often now that Oak is used for fence posts Peter, this was a very old fence that I just left for 10 years after moving into town after being in the countryside for about 30 years as I had so much work to do, the posts were starting to rot and was fairly riddled with worm but as usual I try not to dump anything lol and I have saved quite a few decent clean chunks, still got loads to cut up very hard stuff too!:whistling:
