I have some of my pens in a local shop on display / sale. The shop also stocks other items made by other people.
The shop owner contacted me with some pictures of chopping boards and picture frames someone had made for her to display / sell in the shop. He makes the items from reclaimed broken skateboards. It was thought that the items he made may be able to be used in pen making.
After few messages back and forth he came round and dropped me some blanks off to my size requirements.
Below are the 3 I turned so far on TM Zeta kits.
As a bonus he also works as tree surgeon and often gets burr that they just bin [emoji24] that won't be happening again I have been assured [emoji2]
So a supply of these blanks and burr all from a couple of messages. Very happy with that result.
