Yesterday I managed to grab some shed time, well most of the day.
One of the projects I did was to make this Americana Twist pen dressed in some Olive wood Neil Lawton gave me.
Finished with a couple of coats of Friction Polish and Microcrystalline Wax

It's a cracking pen, I haven't seen that kit before, at least I don't think so.

The kit comes from Axminster. Also available from Craft Supplies in the USA. As the packaging says Dayacom on it, I assume they manufacture it.

A lovely piece of wood on a nice kit but I think it would look better as Woody says with more at the cb and maybe a bit less at the nib end. Thats just my opinion though and it still looks good as it it.
