I have let it dry out indoors weighing it daily untill daily change was negligable I have charred the cracks with Pyrography machine sanded to 600 grit and one coat of Danish oil so far.

How does one turn photos 90 degrees

Excitement...............Peter.:thumbs: By that I mean the excitement of using Picassa 3 where you just press a slide to the right angle well it was exciting for me.:thumbs:

See I would have tried to finish it weeks ago and thus wrecked it! Good on the patience. Looking forward to seeing the end result.

How do you bore through the centre for the fittings?

The right way up the right shade choose if you want a base, how you do the electrics do you conform to safety what colour shade switched how the transformation awaits, what colour temperature lamp, bayonet based Edison screw lamp, all the best on the way Mac.
