Recently went on a holiday to Rhodes and while visiting the Acropolis in the the old town, I found a fallen branch of Olive wood. Well I couldn't leave it lying there, could I? Managed to break off a smallish bit to fit in my suitcase for the trip home. The plan is to make 2 pens with the Olive wood as a reminder of our holiday, but I decided that I might as well use the off-cuts from trimming the branch to make another pen. So with a little red resin and some off-cuts, here is the first of the extra pens (got some more off-cuts in a blank for when I get time to turn another)
