Omega in Gunmetal & Conway Stewart blank

Here is an Omega in Gunmetal using an un-named Conway Stewart Blank.
Will have to disassemble it as the nib end metal thread shore off slightly leaving a sharp edge !!
Lucky i have a spare Gunmetal Kit.

Does that mean you have a problem with the Omega or was it a problem while building the kit up?

Regarding the thread issue, i had the same with a few kits, now when i put this kit together i use an old turned Baron top tube between the thread and my press as a cushion when pressing together .. Not had any since ..

I didn't know anyone has had a problem when building the kit up Jim, so worth knowing..

On the ones I have built up I haven't had any. Or at least I hadn't noticed any..:thinks:
