Omega on a Sassy Grass Brody blank

My first pen turned from one of Brody's blanks, the pics don't do the blank justice to be honest. Need to sort out a better photo system!

It was fun to turn, very different to the other acrylics I have done. Scraping with the skew is definitely your friend with these, it is easy to be heavy handed with them! More to follow!

I painted it black just in case, although I might have gotten away with it. There is a lot more depth to the blank that you can't see there, the pigments are definitely on different levels.
