Here I have made a few Omega pen sets which I am planning to sell as Wedding Pens. 1 (fountain) to use to sign the register and 2 (rollerball) to use everyday.
1 Alder
2 Stabilized Flamed Beech
3 Japanese Oak
$ Walnut with gold embellishing wax

Superb job of them Martin, sales should go well as they look good.

Not sure if you have done wedding pens before, but remember that the Registrar will need Registrars ink in the FP's. You will also need permission from them to use the pen for signing documents.

This is a duplicated post, not sure why it did that.

Anyway. pic here of a recent pen and box I provided to my last wedding. Have a few more to come over the summer months.

The ink used in the registrars signing, is a special iron gall ink. One has to ask the official registrar for permission.
The pen can be used on the mock-up photos, without signing any docs.

Ah I had no idea about the special ink needed for the pens. Thanks very much for the heads up on that. Any idea of where I could get my hands on said ink?

I agree with Kelvin, that said my experience with registrars over the last 10 years has been very mixed. So get the information from the couple and contact them your self.

Pandemic has changed a few things and some of the old registrars I knew have retired, so its all about getting to know the new ones now.

I have some Diamine Registrars ink as stock, it is bottles ink so will need the converter. doesn't come in cartridges.

Make sure you get the pen back after signing the register, make sure its washed and fully cleaned out and then put fresh ink in it. (If they want to use it as a FP pen after of course. Reason for that is it's a really corrosive ink.

You will be surprised that some clergy don't use registrars ink, some have never heard of it

Beaut ideas and execution helpfull discussion on local requirements. The worst and not subtle keepers of pens come from the clergy.
