Well it has been a bullet day today with the other posts too.
I sat in the shed with a cuppa and simply tidying and kicking stuff around with absolutely no idea of what to do.
My Drain had gone out and I had a whole hour to play, still no motivation and kicking more bits around found some bullets from Alex in a bag put them on bench.
Blank and shell cases is what Young Charlotte dug out at the weekend she didn't like it as it was all yellow and green but never put it away.
More coffee and a little play with my cnc engraved a knife blade and a bullet or two and next thing I knew I was making more Coffee for me and my Drain.
This blank was one of Woody's throw away's and it was yellow and green when I started with it.

Exactly right Paul the case top looks like a belt in the middle so hiding a would be joint.
Since these pictures I have turned the clip end around giving a better fit and smartened the top end up a tad.

Thanks for all the nice comments young people.
That blank is a total mystery I believe may have come from Woody originally when he sorted a load out he was gonna get rid of.
Charlotte picked it out for the Uncle Matt bullet bolt action but it wasn't long enough for that kit.
It did have a camouflage look about it with yellow green and brown marks all over it, I wish I had photographed it beforehand now.
As it turned down it changed colour totally and now only have the feintest glimpse of green at the rear of it.
The whole thing was the result of just a play in the shed and a bit of fun but I am pleased with it.
IT'S BLOODY PLASTIC URRRGHH

Nice one Brian don't remember the blank mate

You can't remember em all dad but I think you gave me a handful of blanks that were a mixture of truestone and acrylics, to small for full sized pens but ok for sierra's etc.
Charlotte found them and wanted a play at the weekend and left them out on the bench.
I might spin the rest up just to give me a selection when I show them off.
I did a wedding set for a friend's son a few weeks ago, it seems he married the daughter of a Hatton Garden Jeweller who was taken with the set and wants to see more.
He sent a large chunk of Mahogany yesterday and asked if I would make a trophy stand for his Golf day in March, mount a trophy and put some engraving on it.
He has asked about letter knifes, pens and magnifying glasses, it looks like word is getting around.
We have a meet at his golf club setup for Thursday this week so have to get my skates on and show him something init?
