Have you ever had one of those days when everything you touch turns into a disaster? Well, I had one of them days today. Spent eight hours in the shed lost a pen body blank it just exploded on the lathe. lost another cap blank a chunk came off on the last pass. Had all sorts of problems with drill sizes. I ended up at the end of the day with a cap from a Churchill kit in one blank and a nib section also a Churchill in a different blank. So I assembled them together and made them up into a complete pen. It looks OK-ish I can not see anyone wanting to buy it but it functions OK I will just use it my self.:sob::vangry:

Yes Dave, we've all had days like that, but whatever went before, you ended up with a pen, well done.

I just stop and clean the workshop then try again the following day when I can't find anything because I tidied up the day before and the cycle begins all again. At least it all goes wrong in a tidy workshop:wink::wink::wink:
