This is what the guy wants. The grain on the twist cap was brown like the rest of the pen
Can't figure why it turned black while finishing it. The wood is Hemlock, I think

Cool design. It looks like oak to me, but I have no experience with hemlock. Not sure about the grain turning black. Heat from friction, maybe?
