Hi All
I was asked to make a one piece twist pen in wood some time ago and it took a bit of time to work it out.
This is the finished pen.

I drilled through the full blank, then glued one of the brass tubes into one end (Clip end)
The blank was turned on the mandrel with the nib end brass tube loosely fitted
The nib end was then pressed into the tube followed by the twist mechanism and then pushed into the turned blank.

Thanks for looking

Fred

Yep that's exactly how it's done well done for figuring it out yourself.
Picture is a tad dark for us to honour your glory though.
