In 2016 I injured myself and was away from the shed for almost a year. Well it's happened again except I don't have a clue how I was injured. No falls, no accidents, nothing. One day I woke up sore and it didn't get better. MRI confirmed rotator cuff damage AND a torn bicep tendon. Had it been a common rotator cuff injury recovery would have been easy. The bicep tendon repair is the kicker. The tendon was cut and reanchored in 2 places. As a result my therapy for the next month is do absoutly NOTHING that exercises the bicep. It takes 4 to 6 weeks for the bone to meld with the plugs and become stable. I am allowed to take my arm out of the sling only when I shower. So I have a very boring 6 weeks to look forward to before any actual therapy begins. Not having any pain (better living through chemistry), napping a lot.
