I am trying to discover if Oversize Pen Kits 25mm are still available from anywhere. I made a batch in the past for some stroke sufferers and have been asked if I can make a few more but am unable to locate any of the kits.
Would anyone know if these have been discontinued or if an alternative is available.
Thanks

Hi Keith, welcome to the Forum.....
I can't say I have seen what your looking for, the biggest I know is the Pazazz which is tapered. You can turn the humble Slimline/Streamline oversize for arthritic hands and a few members on here have done that to great effect..... You can turn your own centerband to whatever size you like if you make from acrylic/resin or just do away with it all together.....
Hope this helps:thumbs::thumbs:

Hi, Thanks for the link but I have already tried them and they no longer stock them.

It looks like I'll be making some centre bands. Thanks for the responses.

Hmm their site said they had 50 in stock!!

Just a suggestion, as an arthritis sufferer myself and getting fed up with pens leave my hands involuntarily have you thought about this shape for your customers?

This is my workshop pen and I find it very useful at the end of the day when my hands dont work properly after a days turning.

I am in favour of Slimlines on Steroids which is precicely what Ritz Heng sell,or as we have often felt the needs of others.

I think you may be thinking of these pen kits, can’t remember the original name of them. Used to take the pee saying they would do as 38t axial stands..

They are very big, made one for my mother a few years ago. Not sen them for sake for a while tho. But they were marketed as a different name! :rolling:

EDIT... Panach pen kits! :banana::banana:

I wouldn't recommend a Panache anytime I have had to repair or replace so many; essentially they come undone in the handbag so the lady does them up tighter then the cap lid thread strips!!! Besides the nib part goes down to the thickness of a 7mm slimline.

Thanks to all for their thoughts, I have managed to order some oversize kits from Pencraft.
Apparently one of my web settings meant the page did not refresh correctly and didn't add them to my basket.
Tuition from a younger member of the family managed to solve the problem.
Thanks
Keith
