Paduk Uk-UP

Tried putting ebony 6 sided knot on a Paduk blank today..

One knot was out of line and the ebony has bled all over the Paduk

I even used sanding sealer as well, cut it up a bit heavy and din't sand back as normally would, I think the grain has opened up a bit.

Oh well, try again.

Kit - TB Baron FP
Blank - Paduk with Ebony knot
Finish - Friction polish

Depends if grandson nicks it off me in the morning before I rip it off and start again, not happy with it Jim. It will only sit there laughing at me... haunting me.

Just to mention Eamon, a few weeks ago i set out to do the same cross at 60 degree cuts, but after four and it looking bang on i stopped. Just didn't have the bottle to carry on ..
