Decided to cut up some of my pallets this morning, so made a pen from one bit. Used my pyrography pen to burn marks/holes into the blank once turned to echo nail holes, then built it a small pallet as a stand.
So don't adjust your screens, its not a full size pallet with a massive pen on it:funny::funny::funny:

I love the artistic humour - but sadly dont you just love rebating the pen cap with that kit? (Oh thats the kit that Axminster sell for £14.95?? and the rest of the world used to sell for £4.90 before the manufacturer stopped selling it?) As a kit overpriced and not revered by some in the pen turning fraternity but it was a good seller at a kit price of a fiver.

I know, always found it a bit of a daft idea to make a kit that way with regards to the cap. Also, glad I found this one hiding in the draw, as I was looking through the Axminster catalogue last week and nearly spat out perfectly good beer when I saw what they're charging for these kits now...... only cost me 4 quid when I first started. :nooidea:

Great to see a different slant on things. All you need now is to turn a steel drum mount it on the pallet and call it a pen holder
