Take a guess
As the title says.......this is my first pen turned from Palmwood but it won`t be my last, I really like the grain pattern a beautiful timber if a bit of a bugger to photograph

I have just made a pen from the same wood Doug, kindly sent to me by Terry, and agree it does make great looking pens, just like this one .. :thumbs:

Doug, Great pen mate the Palm I guess comes from one of many hundreds of types of palm and could be classified much like Eucalypt with over 700 varieties but any of the Palm I have had is very strong and fibrous, noticed others have shared from the same source what is your assesment of the nature of this timber.

Can't really see the grandeur of the pen in this pic Doug but you know that.
