Palmwood JR Gentleman's Rollerball

Terry was kind enough to post me this Palmwood .. My first time turning this BTW and my did those bits fly around .. Placed on a Chrome plated JR Gentleman's Rollerball and finished with a couple of coats from friction polish and waxed using the Renaissance Wax Polish ..

I've just bought some Palmwood & if yours is anything to go by I'm glad I did Jim, smashing pen mate :thumbs::thumbs:

That is a mighty fine pen Jim not the easiest of woods to work with on a lathe

Palmwood is a mongrel to turn your pen is excellent Jim yes it is worthwhile I like to rough turn it and bring paper to bare the beauty underneath.

Another wood I have never got to turning yet.. But looking at the colours it's something I will have to put on my to do list.

You have done an excellent job as usual Jim, top quality ..thanks for sharing..
