Turned this today..:sob:

Its a great big limp of wood and heavy, got another kit but I cant say I'm a fan of them.

To top it all the CA finish was a little Bu**er to get right, it still didn't come out right (see mottling on the cap). Was wondering if it was me or the weather. (me in Think)

Well My mum was happy with it as its now in her handbag.. It had to be a woman pen as you need its own bag to carry it around..

Said it felt good and she could hold it easier, presume with it being chunky it helped with her arthritis ridden hands.

Le me know what you think, I'm not a lover of the kit as you possibly judged, wasted a bit of good wood on that..:sob:

That's my last offering today, been an enjoyable time, nice to get back in to it. Just know it won't last..

That is one of those kits I have never liked but that one dose look really good no wonder Mum likes it anyway the amount of men walking around with bags today it could be a uni sex pen LOL but if Mum likes it then it must be good who dares argue with Mum

I have to say up till now I've never seen one of these that I liked.

But............ that lovely wood draws your eyes away from the kit :funny:

It actually looks quite nice.

Looks good to me Eamonn..but having never seen one in the flesh I will reserve judgement on the quality of the kit....workmanship looks great as per.

The kit is not to everyones liking Eamnn, the most important part is that your Mum does like it and that is all that matters. :bwink: Makes all that work today worthwhile my friend .. :winking:

Liking the kit and the blank puts me in a minority so far but it serves that Amboyna Burl well, your Mum has good taste.IMHO.

Kind regards Peter.
