Lovely finish.
A novice question 🤔 I’m happy with the turning got all the kit I need and can turn a decent shape.
My finishing leaves a lot to be desired.
1. What’s best way of finishing wooden ones.
2. What’s best finish for acrylic.
Thanks for looking...
Hi, "A Novice!" member since 2018 and a novice! :whistling::funny:

There is as many ways to finish pens as there are penturners, so no matter what you do do it your way. I can't tell you the best way only the way I do it.

There is a files section on here for the Phil Dart Acrylic Lacquer method. Print it off and follow that and you wont go far wrong.

I adopted that method (With a few little changes) after suffering an allergic reaction to CA adhesive, so don't use it now.

If you can't find it on here go over to Beaufort inks website you will find it on there.

Hope that helps

@Stone woodturner Steve, you might want to ask your questions in the Turning Pens section - you'll get a much greater response there.
