I got a parker ball pen given as a Xmas present several years ago. Its a click pen I first noticed the nib was not fully retracting you could actually write with it without pressing the click part. I gave the pen top a tweak and the whole thing ended up spitting its bits all over my desk.
Having looked at all the bits of plastic and a shiny outer metal tube. How do they get away charging what they do for these made in China looking pens. The pens I make and definitely some of the quality pens we see here on the forum are far superior.

Yes, I have to agree, but you answered your question in the post title...... Its a 'Parker'
People will naturally gravitate towards a named brand.... "because its been around years" "my dad's always had one"... I saw two new ones this week actually and I thought the same,as time goes on and corners get cut, so does quality, unless they can justify a price hike :sob:
I did offer to replace the two for the guy including the cheap plastic box:wink:
