Just getting back into turning after a long lay off. Did these over the past few days.
From top Yew, Pear and Hornbeam.

Three nicely turned pens Ray, the Hornbeam pen has a great shape to it my friend .. :bwink:

Thanks everybody for the comments.
Took these to a place called Age Well where I am a member just to show what I had been doing. The Yew and Hornbeam sold and got an order for another Yew and one lady is going to work out what she wants for xmas presents and let me know.
Not a bad day.

It sure does. Lost where I had to do turning about 4 years ago and kept saying I would build a workshop but other things kept coming up. Now at last I have built one and I`m loving it.

Ray sense your happiness and success in turning again as a cricket follower loved the shape of the hornbeam one reminds me of two cricket bails. Forever on this forum and others the subject of design and for me its completely subjective. Observing the age reaction and purchases this design of yours has followers as well. Please prosper and continue having fun. Happy story as I set out this morning on another busy day with the medicos.:thumbs:
