Johnny, Thought as much as the friction polish has tainted the colour of the olive, made it go a little orange. The sealer prevents it doing this, if thats what you want, providing you use the sprays as the bottled stuff also taints the olive wood. Sealer isnt just to fill grain but it stops the wood absorbing the friction polish and therefore gives you a better finish.
