A bit more time spent on the prep for finish and you're there mate, a good attempt and every pen is improvement init?

What a great finish just a bit more time preparing and sanding with the grain and you will have perfection a good finish will always highlight the smallest blemish or fault keep up the good work your almost there

Roy, have a good look at the pen as the flash exaggerates these lines, i have had them show up on my pens but to the eye i don't see anything .. The pen has a very good finish and style my friend.. :thumbs:

PM Me too La and I'll send some. You can never have too many.

To get rid of the ridges (I take it that you've used ca) lightly sand with something like 400 grit until the ridges have gone. Then wet and dry with 600 and then 1200. Finally finish with burnishing cream or some sort of cutting polish and maybe finish with car polish.
