From the yew you kindly sent. Could be finished better, a few small scratches which I don't think show up on the photo, I think I could have sanded it better tbh. What I didn't notice, until I saw the photo was the mark on the bottom barrel and the small crack at the top. Ho hum, one learns by ones mistakes I guess. Anyway, sanded with abranet from 80 to 600, sanding sealer, friction polish and micro wotsit wax.

In other news, did an interesting corian, which looks like it's got holes in it!

And finally, had a bit left over from the segmented pen I did yesterday, so did a chrimbo decoration

I'm off for a lie down!

Pity about the crack in the Yew pen, but both pens and the decoration are all very nice
You also seem to have found your own style for the pens

Very nice Robert shame about the yew spiting it may pay you to look see if any glue is inside the tube in future I always run a pen knife blade round each end before assembly to avoid this happening some good bits of wood have been lost due to glue in the end of the tube

Christmas is cancelled this year, it's just another day of housework unless I get a job quick.
I wouldn't have noticed the crack if you hadn't pointed it out.
Hide it under the clip till it spreads then turn it off and start again init?
