Pearlwood knife

This one is a pearlwood scaled knife with a spanish stainless cudeman blade with matching spanish leather sheath, finished off with brass mosaic pins, a brass lined lanyard hole, leather lace lanyard, and brick red fibre liners

the piece of pearlwood used to cut the scales for this one

That's really nice, :claps: as a knife buff myself I discovered that there is a large market in France for sheath and pocket knives of which the major centres are Thiers in the massif central and Laguiole in Aubrac, but every department has a small group of known professional hand makers each with their own distinctive style. In fact I sell Walnut and Oak scales to a few.

Whilst you probably have your favourite suppliers already if you are looking for any Damascus blades you might want to try Matthew at Workshop Heaven .

Everything to like Matt happy to see the class act of all in knife making I am making one for my grandson in Melbourne a Bow Hunter there are thousands of wild Elk in Victoria where he lives. Every part of the making is careful, complete and beautifully finished thanks for sharing mate.
