Pen and stand made today. Stand made from neighbour's old window frames.
First photograph I have submitted so just finding my way around the process.
Photography tips appreciated
That's one of my first laminating attempts. After sanding one coat of Chestnut friction polish and just buffing after that.
I don't know why the photo is on it's side, it is also my first time posting a photograph

Thanks Phil for turning me around.
The first attempt I made posting was with a picture taken with my wife's ipad but I couldn't post it on the site as it was over 1.1MB so ended up using the wife's phone for the picture.
As you gather this photography and posting lark is all new to me. I only have a nokia mobile, a laptop and no experience. All advice gratefully received.
A phone often shows you the photo on its own screen the right way up because of automatic rotation, where as in fact the phone knows the orientation is a different way, and that's the way it will download it too. You can source free photo editing packages online if you do a quick search - you can either download the image to your laptop, or email it to yourself, then have a look at it in the software to make sure it's the right way round, and change it if necessary.
Phil thanks for taking the time with this.
I was able, more by luck than by skill, to post another photo in the scroll saw section. This time it was the right way up.
I followed Jim's instructions in the forum for inserting a photo and that led me to a site for editing photos, though I couldn't get any success as it kept saying that only jpg gif png or bmp, despite my photo being jpg ( whatever that is )
The site was freeline onsite picture resizer
Again, any help gratefully received
Alan
