Pen box for Rowdy - at last!

I have had FOUR attempts at this box - not sure who is holding a voodoo doll and sticking pins in it! I ruined the first three (and a large quantity of decent cherry wood to boot) through rank stupidity and inattention. This one is not perfect either, Rowdy, but is it good enough? Any thoughts?

Not usually, but this one just beat the cr*p out of me for some reason ...

David addressed to Rowdy and shown to us commented on by many confused by the ring from the bottom presume its a technical observation by Brian in Jest referring to the engraving all of this means you want us to see and comment. I believe its great your wooden box making and engraving this is confirmed now by Rowdy the receiver, thanks for showing us mate.
