It's all been said and when I started, I bought a few bushes but they really are rubbish and for a long time now I haven't bothered.

Anyone capable of turning a pen also has the ability to make a set of bushes for the job in hand and can be made from many scraps of materials, wood acrylic, nylon acetal HDPE ( melted milk bottles ), brass, aloy etc.  When they're worn then throw them away and spend 10 minutes making new ones. make a few sets of cones for polishing with CA and problem solved. Why risk all the cost and effort expended on a pen for the sake of a few minutes, surely a no brainer?
