Pen kits thread sizes

Anybody know the thread size of kit pens nibs and the thread used on the nib section to attach it to the body of the pen. :scratch_head:

I spent what seemed at the time forever sorting threads on electrical products finally deciding manufacturers developed their own. Reminds me of that Bastard File.

This all came to a head for me out on the Airports with twenty planes circling trying to repair runway lights sealed Fresnel from France in the frost and wind,in the dark and urgent planes running low on fuel. The things we have to do and those we choose.

The pen.....

You very often find that there are many diffferent threads for the different types of pens out there..

They are odd sized as well, the Sierra used to be 8.4x.7 so you see the odd sizing.

Some of the fountain pen kits use Acme pitch threads for body to cap as well.
