Right, too cold to mess about with casting so I decided to leave that till later when the weather changes.

Have just finished a job I was doing, and thought 'why not have a go at some more pens'. Made some a few years ago for presents and so on. So can you knowledgeable ones point me in the right direction to get some cheap kits to start me of with again.

Thanks for your help guys.

Depending on how many you actually want Shaver?

If you're after some just to make a few pens, then Jimbo's Pencrafts is ideal ..

If you are looking to stock up, then David at Timberbits is your man..

Thanks guys, gonna have a look at them later to wet my appetite so to speak and see what I fancy.

What happens with the customs cost if I go with Timberbits? Does it still stack up with UK prices?

Shaver seems like you waited some years so far looks like careful planning could be fun and saving money a no brainer. I am surprise members have not got together and specialised in buying certain kits to have reserves it seems most of us use the Ford motor company principle Just in time which is OK until there are real busy times such as Christmas etc when things slow down, I hear confusing delivery dates varying from a few days to 20 odd from Australia.

If you order under under AU$ 80 from TB I think I am right in saying that the postal charges wont break the bank either.
